The Politician's Prayer
The politician prays to God:
"Please preserve our force and fraud!
"We cannot coerce
without judicious use of force
Nor can we tell the truth
without getting the boot."Please hear our plea, O Deity,
Our land with liberty endow,
With the boon of freedom bless
But not just now."
