Process Windows
"Your poems are process windows."
How about Gender blenders?
"Could call them Mind Benders"
And my serial poems?
"They're like mini-plays
--- with dialogues and all."
Note:Written at the Timberlane bar May, 1996 at 6:15 pm while making a salad with purple onion, cucumbers, and ripe creole tomatoes. Dressing was mayonaise, white vinegar, black pepper, salt, Wishbone® Italian dressing (a dash), and shrimp powder for a garnish. A bowl licker!
Mind benders came from Del, who refused to read a group of poems one night, saying, "They bend my mind." The reference "serial poems" was the name he originally gave to describe his poemlets that consist of multiple poems each with its own note. Del came to love the Notes more than the poems in some cases.
