A few new Dr. Seuss Books for Adults. (Hide these from the kids — makes it more fun when they find them, plus they won't ask you what it means when they do. Sent in by a Rascal in Arkansas.)

Photo of this 800 feet high bridge from Paris to Barcelona was relayed to me by Mark Parker of Metairie, Louisiana on November 1, 2006:

This series of Optical Illusions was relayed to me from Anna Keller in St. Charles Parish, Louisiana on June 23, 2006:
The first one has the words OPTICAL and ILLUSION interlaced into one image.
The next one has the words Teach and Learn appearing as reflections of one another.
The next one has the words Me and You interlaced into one image.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This series of Semi-Optical Illusions was relayed to me from Anna Keller in St. Charles Parish, Louisiana on July 23, 2006 (keep'em coming, Anna!):
The first Semi-tractor trailer advertises what appears to be a Beer Bottle which seems to "Stand Out" of the side of the truck with the German slogan "Schmeckt hervorragend" which translates into English as "Tastes Outstandingly Good!" Actually it's bottle of Bionade, "a non-alcoholic refreshment drink for wellness and fitness."
The next Semi-tractor trailer looks like a book shelf and has the German words "Weiterkommen im Marketing!" as a Postit note on the books which translates into English as "Go far in Marketing!"
If you wish to put all the books from the above shelf into a Tote Bag, you'll need one like this:
The next Semi-tractor trailer is carry Pepsi Cases floating on the ceiling. I can't read the Pepsi sign, but it's probably Pepsi Light, don't you think?
This next Semi-tractor trailer must look rather weird when it's backed into the loading dock! Plus think of the drunk in the passenger seat of a following car who suddenly wakes up! The German question "Auf dem falschen Weg?" literally translates "On the wrong Way?" on the backing up truck.
Looks like this Semi-tractor trailer caught on fire and left only a remnant of a charred label of Pringle's Hot & Spicy chips as a clue to the cause.
And finally a peaceful rolling Aquarium to relax you as you cruise the Autobahn at 240 kph.
This series of photos and text was relayed to me from Anna Keller in St. Charles Parish, Louisiana on July 25, 2006:
These photos are of Entries in the Hot Air Balloon Festival in New Mexico.
Jorn Olsen works for the Dutton-Lainson Co. in Hastings, Nebraska, and lives by Heartwell Park next to Hastings College. The other night he took these photos. The stadium lights are at the Hastings College stadium just east of his home.
The clouds are called Mammatus clouds. They do not precede a tornado, or foretell a storm, but are formed when the air is already saturated with rain droplets and/or ice crystals and begins to sink. The worst of the storm is usually over when these kinds of clouds are seen.
They are quite rare, but really beautiful.
This came from Dave Lyons on July 1, 2005:
Julian Beever is an English artist who's famous for his art on the pavement of England,
France, Germany, USA, Australia and Belgium. Beever renders his sidewalk chalk drawings in anamorphic projections, which leap out of the payment if seen from one particular spot. See the swimming pool at the bottom for what an anamorphic project looks like from another spot.
